WAV files to Mp3 for MAC

any ideas of what to use to convert WAV files to MP3 on a mac??
i tried just dropping them into iTunes, but that didnt work.
please help

If you have the wav files, I can make the mp3's I guess, unless you have a million of them.

here is a way to do it with the itunes.
burn the wav's to a cd and then have iTunes rip the cd files to mp3. or pay for software.

I just inadvertantly had the tv show "The OC" on for 15 minutes.
I will never be clean again.

- Drop them all into iTunes, select them, then choose Advanced > Convert Select to MP3 (it might say AAC, change this in the prefs.)
It couldn't be any easier.
