dove? the soap company?

well aa is an american sweatshot regardless what the advertising says
employees are searched coming and going and some of them even live under bridges because we all know american minimum wage in cali is way below the poverty line
my point:
what did you expect, something you could respect????
- swollenelbow0
v3, aa gets away with it because they feature, "juan and rosa" pictorials on their website.
they really like their sweatshop works. they have photoshoots.

*won't work with aa even though it would be profitable to sell my designs on their garments
morals prevent profit
:(
maybe someday i'll get over it

I read an article about aa and it made it sound like the employee's were treated very well and paid very fairly. so i dont know about this under the bridge RHCP stuff you speak of.

i'm speaking from the personal experience of a close associate of mine whom i trust and respect dearly

"*won't work with aa even though it would be profitable to sell my designs on their garments
morals prevent profit"why not just use another brand of tee, then?
besides, hate em or love em, AA have done a hell of a job with their brand. 'nuff respect. personally, i like their shit. even if their whole 'look' jocks terry's style... jazx was right when he said that ripoffs [if dont correctly] generally make lots of money.

dont = done

nick i understand what you mean and i'm in the process of making those decisions. i won't argue that they have been successful. they have done very well for themselves, butu at whose expense is my concern.
as far as choosing the other brand, we are just trying to go with one that offers quality, durability and color selection
if you don't mind my asking, what brand does Werkburo print on?
- usrper0
come on now... that guy (richardson) wasnt the firsy/only person that have done what hes doing.
- ********0
as far as i know, werkburo prints on AA tees.
and at whose expense? do you really think their factory is THAT bad? im not sure if this is entirely accurate, but don't they say that they pay the highest wages in the garment industry?
better than making the shit in southern china... thats how i look at it.
- version30
lesser of two evils huh? i can see that point, i guess i'd be happier had i never heard my story i referred to
in a perfect world i'd start my own textile processing, but thats not really where my sights are
thanks for the input and points of view nick, i appreciate it

Who is Terry Richardson? TDR?

i'd be interested in hearing that story...
in December, my friend Greg was down in LA for a month working over at AA, and from what i heard he only had positive things to say about the experience... he also got an 80% discount on the clothes while he was there... that bastard.
