i need to renew my domain. anyone have a good cheap service they recommend? i already have a host, i just need the domain.
the place i am using now wants $29.99 a year to renew, which i think is a bit steep.

GoDaddy is running a sale on .us, .biz and .info ($5-7) and they have all kinds of price breaks for multi year registrations.

I just don't like godaddy, something about the interface. Feels Like I'm shopping at walmart or something

yahoo is better than godaddy?
[ godaddy is only $7.95 / yahoo is $9.95 ]

had a client with godaddy and did not have a good experience. Yahoo is cool. I use it too. I host with mediatemple and love the account management so now I like registering thrugh them and it is $15. If you host with them, otherwise I'd go with Yahoo

i went with yahoo

so, uh, how to i change the DNS info?
- alienmelon0
in your Yahoo acct in domain control panel under Advanced DNS settings under change nameservers should work
- anzelina0
yeah, it says i'm not eligible for changing my nameserver because the domain was originally registered with someone else.
i have to change something with my original host?

godaddy and mt are my suggestion
both have answered all my questions and assisted immediately with anything ive needed

jazx, since you use yahoo, can you help me out?
how do i set up this whole thing?
- zombiewoof0
I had a bitch of a time getting my domain name moved from yahoo to MT. Evidently yahoo uses a third party in Australia as registrar who is not very responsive. Took me three weeks just to get the domain name servers switched.
- anzelina0
oh crap.
how exactly did you do it?
