I'm working on a site for a friend. He wants basic HTML page for displaying images he's done as a PS retoucher. His images are saved for WEB as jpegs (SRGB profile). he wants these images layed on a colored background. Some of these images have a colored border that we are using to swap same size images out for other ones.
Some are horiz, some vert, some panoramic...How do i match Dreamweaver background color to These SRGB files. I put the color number of the border in to the property of the background color. There is a slight difference in color. Is there a way to fix this?

the variation is most probably because your background in the image is not flat....it is made up of a lot of different colors....

I think I figured it out.
He didn't use a web color....just some color he thought looked good.
Thanks though liquid
