I need to buy a decent A3 printer. What do you rekon is the best? I've got an A4epson which i've always been pretty happy with. but need to go bigger, with edge to edge printing!

we've got a epson stylus photo 2100 prints on super A3. great quality. seven colour. was about 500 quid.
ink can be expensive and it took a while to find the good quality paper that wasnt the epson rip off stuff. still using epson inks tho

We use a Canon i9100 which has been severally abused over the past 3 years without too much complaint.
I've been considering buying another one... if only because we shell out so much for fricking ink cartridges, so it'd represent 'some economy'...

The new Epson r1800 looks quite tasty, with it's 8 ink set and archival quality.

HP designjet 120 - although that's now been updated - it's A1 but there is an A3 version. Gives great quality prints.

epson 2100. just got one last week.so far so good. also supports postscript. very good color - but you need expensive paper to get accurate results.
i hear HP can be very buggy with macs. however-much cheaper.

The Epson 1290 produces excellent pin sharp prints. Inks are expensive but aren't they always!
