how do i import paths fromillustrator to flash?

you can export as swf in illustrator and import it in flash

see the thing is i need to do masking and animation in flash with the paths.. and drawing in flash sucks...
need to do something like this

That's sweet! But a lot of work in flash. You can start with the export to swf, but you need do a lot of work after that.

hmm, like uber said, i don't think it'll export the paths, it'll be solid objects

i dont get it. so i do the drawings in ill, do i even do the animations in ill? if not, the exported swf will only be a static image, right?

thats the thing brandelec its almost imposible to draw in flash with the pen tool...

export multiple swf-s with different content (shapes)??

1) you can't use a path as a mask in Flash, no matter where the path originated from. See 'Convert paths to fill' command.
2) just select the path, Ctrl+C, and paste onto the flash drawing area. Presto-- your path is in tact.
