univeraly centered table

how do i make sure a table is centered on the screen no matter what res the user has?

Put the table in a div.
div align="center"
/div
Of course, add the greater than and less than where they belong.
The screen res doesn't really matter with this. It will center no matter what.

tables and divs are like michael jackson and little boys, best kept well apart.
use a div and some css to centre it.
use the find here for assorted methods of achieving this.

I was going to say that if you don't know how to center a table, stepping up to doing it with divs and css is probably a bit over the head, perhaps.
Being a marketing guy or not being a marketing guy has nothing to do with it. :)
(I work in marketing and have been doing web work since 1999, so does that matter?)

Sadly, there isn't a better way than a table 100% w&h, align="center"and no doctype.
CSS was invented by narrow minded nerds, not designers, and they didn't understand a need to center the content vertically.
I really hope you can prove me wrong.
