i have been working on this photoshop piece for hours and i was playing around with it in corel painter.
i didnt save any changes on painter so supposedly it shouldn't affect the file.
so i go back to photoshop, played around, tried to save, cannot save, i cannot do anyhting with it, so i had to close it.
AND NOW THE FUCKING PSD IS "EMPTY"..... ONLY 4K FILE.....
WHAT THE FUCKKKKKK
IS THERE SOME RECOVERY PROGRAM FROM SPACE??????

shit like that has happened to me before. it wouldnt let me save any changes i had made to it after a certain point, so i just took a screen capture of what was up on the screen and saved that. better to have that than nothing.
but i was in your position before and found the only thing i could do was that so next time it happened i knew not to close it.

did you try "save as" and save to new file? i know that doesnt help you now, but just interested to know.

ok. before i closed it i copied (as in copy and paste) the stuff... but i dont seem to be able to paste it
how do i dig back to the clipboard?

-----------------------This can happen if/when the photoshop pagefile becomes corrupted, preventing a "save" or "save as".
Sometimes you can duplicate the image and save it ...

Usrper -- I feel for you man.
I know this doesn't help you now, but in the future you can also try doing a "revert" -- you lose the work you've done to that point, but at least you don't lose the file itself.

shoulkd have created a new document and dragged the layers accross one by one...
thats one of the reasons i dont have corel on my comp...

my illustrator have been doing shit like that with me quite a few times, but i found out i could just save as eps, quit and open again.. but i lost a few before i figured it out :(
