I´m about to interview a winemaker here in chile for a new line of labels for his brand.
I´m looking for good on line
design references on this subject...can anybody help with some information???thanks,

Is this just the dream job or what guys?
Tell him you need to sample the wine to use as a reference point for the design work...
You need to sample eveything in order to get a 'feel' for the brand...

create the label to look like an old illustration from a fairytale.
Maybe some twisting grape vines in the moon/sunlight with wolves roaming about or something.

did some wine labels with a mate a few years ago and we just kept getting cases of wine in the post!!! red, white and pink. certainly made any 'late' nights easier :o)
