well as i said, it's not a cure but a prevention. it can become worse, that's why you gotta keep drinking like a maniac. i consulted this crazy thing called the internets (!), it has loads of medical sites..

Jox get this clear gel dunno what its called but its extracted from cactus plant.

go to the pharmacy and look for aftersun lotion. don't know where you're at, but over here there's a product called freeze... basically it's a blue gell that you cover yourself with and it cools your skin.
