yeah...i'm pretty lucky in that regard...
i got hired by a company 6 years ago...boss was incredibly cool...very abrupt, big hockey player looking guy...but one hell of a businessman, and incredibly genuine...when our comany got bought out, he walked away with quite a bit of cash, and a non-compete clause....
and as soon as it was up, he started another company and started cherry picking people from the old crew...
he approached me first (which is a super nice compliment) and about 2 months ago i came aboard fulltime as his Art Director..
this guy knows how to run a company, knows how to treat his people with respect...pays us what we're worth, and throws hella fun company parties.
yeah...i'm pretty damn happy with my boss..course, i've had about a zillion that sucked ass...so it's my turn to have a nice one..

work for a corporation as a contractor. my so-called manager could give a f*ck what I do as long as sh*t gets done.

thanks a ton dobs...very kind of you!ya know...it's funny...i know a ton of you guys now, because of NT, and i actually do think of you as friends...even though most of us have never met...
i guess the face to face thing doesn't matter so much in some ways...
because one way or another, most of us spend atleast a couple of hours a day 'hanging out' here...
