Anyone into Classical Contemporary music?
Just discovered this guy, some brilliant brilliant music. Hints of Stockhausen mixed with Reich maybe. I dunno, those are my only two reference points for this stuff. But really good modern classical music. Guyz should hunt me down.

yeah he's great, i escpecially like his most minimal moments like 'solo piano'. he's made quite a few soundtracks good also.

Yeah clerk, i'm just listening to his series of music themed on Dracula, and it's so gothic and brooding.

Philip Glass + Aphex Twin

clerk - not sure about the Bowie thing, but I know Glass took one of the tunes (maybe from I care because you do ???) and arranged it for strings. Sounds amazing :)
I am now going to have to hunt for that.

i know of two times Aphex was involved with Glass
he remixed the Bowie/Glass Heroes symphony
and he collaborated with Glass on ICT Headrali would recommend Glass's Einstein on the beach opera, but be sure to get the good recording there is one that isn't as nice and it's a pretty expensive set of discs, (i bought wrong once)
