The Royal Iconography in graphic design today is out of control, this logo will be lost in the vast ocean of crowns, lions, shields, seals etc. I would persuade him to think of something else or something more original.
The name Supreme brings up Supreme Skates in NYC so I'm partial against it (not that I don't like the name, just that it's a conflict).
So to be constructive, my opinion would be to think more along the lines of something fresh/new standout a bit. Icons are good, specially strong ones like a crown, but maybe look into some other iconography thats not as (ab)used these days.
