What is it with women and new shoes?
Click, click, click, on the way to the office, with the labels still on the soles!
I see this at least 1-2 times a week, and I want to tell them but it's just... too personal?

From a birds point of view there is nout wrong with new shoes, but you might wanna tell them to get them re healed!! new shoes shouldn't go Click, Click Click!!!
Label on soles how ever is a deadly sin!!!

these don't sound like women. these sound like essex tarts who happen to work in the city.

Are the women white?

Girls with heels to high for them is worse. It makes me wanna slap them silly when they walk as if they shat their pants.

(May 19 05, 02:28)Not all of them.
And not only 'Essex tarts', it's fairly prevalent among semi-power-dressing city/PR low heel/pointy toe types also.
Do they not get these shoes and turn them in their hands looking at them from every angle thinking 'hey, great fucking shoes - oh, better take that label off...'?
Or even see someone else with a label left on and think 'Did I remove mine?'.
I think it's an example or symptom of how non-observant or non-visually aware a large proportion of the population is, especially where detail is concerned (not just females btw).

that might be your answer right there. i reckon some of these career gals just break a heel or whatnot and dodge into the nearest harvey nicks, grab a pair of suitable-looking shoes, throw them on and go about their business. we're talking about people who probably get most of their daily alimentation from m+s and eat it standing up. last thing on their minds is what's on the bottoms of their feet. think diane keaton in baby boom.

*thanks bk_shankz for asking the questions that matter most.

I think it's probably a good photographic subject but I haven't got a long enough lens to avoid getting arrested taking the pics...

(May 19 05, 02:22)Ha ha, speaking of tarts, I got propositioned by one last night. I was being a bit naive and had no idea what she was asking at first. Maybe walking up and down Commercial Street for an hour last night gave them the wrong idea.

i find it quite amusing when women who have just broken through to wearing a suit and heels find it quite empowering to hear the clicking of their shoes.
I am sure some even try to make them sound louder!
on a opposite not tho, every time I buy new cons the f**kers squeek for about two months. so annoying.
sorry. just "breakin" in a new pair now
