it's almost too good for such a bad name.

like the top one bottom left is too blue for me...bottom right is too earthy....try it maybe with only one fish....nice work though I'm diggin the handwritten look

i expand on my previous statement... i've had more coffee now.
i think it looks great... rather high end feeling for a fish and chip shop but i think it could work. i hate the name though.
there was actually a little fried seafood place here in NC by that very name. when i lived by the coast i would pass it all the time but i just couldn't bring myself to eat there.

the fishes look like 180 degree copies of each other. make them two unique.

Yeah initially when I was told the name I thought "Something Fishy" sounds dodgy.
But others have said it's quite cute and like it. Anyway it was the clients choice and thats what I had to work with.
I must say VEER.com rocks for fonts & Grunnit your a model citizen, thanks for your comments.

i agree with stewart.

so do i, looking at it now, I'm going to work on another fish in the same style and make him upright.

That logo branded on wooden chippy forks will look well cool
...as the others have said, make the two fish different, as they look like genetically modified clones!

done...
What's a wooded chippy fork?
Cuttlery for a fish & chip shop?
- blaw0
that's quite sharp looking.

It reminds me of the stickers cult members put on their cars. Never worked out what they were up to.

Aren't those stickers a Christian thing?

Thats the agressive Chrsitian mob symbol...therwise know as born again ;-)

I really like the top one. I think the transparent big fish in the BG kinda ruin the simplicity of the drawings.
I would love to see it printed on a real rough and toothy paper.
