I searched the find; it's been asked before. It was ages ago though.
I want to set my BG in FLASH to No Color. I want what's set as the HTML bg to display through.
How can achieve this?
Cheers NT

Why does this completely retard the flash file? I have it set at around 24 FPS, and it's running around 2-4 FPS when the Window Mode is put in.
??

depends, what comp etc are you using?

hmm, I don't know. It's like, setting the window mode to transparent just triggers the file to respond at the rate of a special olympic hurdler.
I don't think it's the comp. Even if it was, I'm sure mine could handle it.

try 31fps

Back then i did some tests with this transparent bg. it only worked in ie pc.

no it doesn't work on all browsers / platforms. ofcourse not. we don't want something that looks the same everywhere now do we? :)

be careful with this it can really effect performance.
you can use the onResize funtion to set your background in flash.
