omg! she moved over to the liberals! Paul Martin made her the minister of human resources.
what about her boyfriend, Peter McKay? The conservative dude?
Luckily, this means the liberals will not have as many problems.

Ok, now I'm convinced that the world is coming to an end. Next up, some sort of killer virus is going to blow in from Newmarket.
- Jaline0
I know! I mean, I have no problems with it...but it's quite shocking.
- Mimio0
So do you Canadians buy the idea that she's doing this to better serve her constituency? Or does she have higher aspirations?
- MrRemote0
Ever get that feeling though that nobody stands for anything anymore. It all seems just one big popularity contest, and it's the rich ones that keep on winning.

$$$
- Jaline0
yeah, she definitely received a promotion.
- JazX0
yeah, hi, can you say I'm a politician to win no matter what i believe.
- function820
politics from my town are the last thing id expect to hear on here... how odd
- Jaline0
i frequently post Canadian/Ontario political news here.

She's actually friends with Bill Clinton, so I though it was odd that she was a conservative. I'm happy about her move because I am scared of Harper.
- danthon0
Harper is already blaming her move on ambition. He is the sore loser of the century. Enough already!
- mrsparkle0
I'm blaming it on wanting to get the hell away from a party lead by a madman.
- doggy0
her poppa is liberal - yes?.
- Jaline0
don't know
- doggy0
im pretty sure he is.
- spiralstarez0
Still,
pretty hard to go from running for leadership of one party, to joining the complete opposite one -
without attributing more than an afterthough to political ambition...
Even though I dislike conservatives...
- Jaline0
I support different aspects of each party, but mostly the liberals and green.

She's hot tho.
and Martin can definitely use some of that booty rite now... one more seat means stability in the camp...
haha lets see wat my political science teacher will say about this in tommorow's class...
oh and u all shud take a Poli Sci course once in ur school life...

OMG! Drama is everywhere! She's all over tv. I didn't think this would effect the election much, but apparently it will be. Anyone watch the press conference and how the entire room burst out laughing everytime the Prime Minister said something like 'this has nothing to do with the election coming up'?
Not sure that's a good thing.

this screws everything up eh.
right now the vote is 150 grits. 151 tories.
and ther three independant. carolyn (the bush doll crusher) will vote liberal.
that puts it 151 each.
with two independants.
who knew the countrie's (short term) fate would lie in the hands of two old guys that are typically back benchers.
I'm more curious about the media ignored conservatives in Newfoundland. The province and its MP (Danny Williams are Torie) wants the budget voted in. They want that money. But two Federal MPs for that province are Tories. SO!
Its either to vote for the budget. lose thier job as a Torie.
Or vote aginst the budget and lose thier job with thier constituents.
I wish they would vote what the constituents want (for the budget) but then again, since when is politics in Ottawa about representing what the people want. *rolls eyes*
