well I think it's really nice. Just look at how tiny it is compared to the Xbox 360 or the PS3

we'll see how the controllers are, i've always been a fan of nintendo controllers over all the others, but so far that's the one of the new 3 that has my vote.

I think it looks great. nice size too. i hear the gamecube games will go in the same loader.

i don't know - i'm not so crazy about the idea of a glossy game system. they should be matte or have some kind of texture. these aren't pieces of art that we're decorating our homes with... i mean, maybe when they come out with powerboards this will be appropriate - but it's not 2015 yet...
- SteveJobs0
powerboards = hoverboards
*chugs some coffee...

You might be forgetting that the Revolution is only 2-3 times the power of the GameCube, Xbox360 is 10 times as powerful as Xbox and PS3 is 35 times more powerful than PS2.
I know whick one I'll be buying.

Where can I read the specs? It reminds me too much of the PS2!

"You might be forgetting that the Revolution is only 2-3 times the power of the GameCube, Xbox360 is 10 times as powerful as Xbox and PS3 is 35 times more powerful than PS2."
yeah, but how much more power was the xbox than the ps2 and look at how crappy the selection was. it's the games that make the system, not the system specs.
- r_gaberz0
actually they bring back golden eye. there are rumors that you can download NES, SNES and N64 games for a small fee and play them on revolution.
wicked.
- r_gaberz0
and well.. the Rev is supposedly powered by a quad ibm chip running at 2.5 ghz. that ain't bad

Even if the Xbox was more powerful than the PS2, it was certainly wasn't anywhere near 1.5 or 2 times more powerful (if that's something you can even measure). And if we're talking quality of games here then PS2 wins hands down every time.
With the Revolution Nintendo are hoping to tap into the mature gamers market but they'll need to get some serious titles on the go.
- SteveJobs0
yeah, ps2 wins hands down because they have superior 3rd party support. nintendo has always had a f*cked up licensing for any of it's 3rd party developers which hurt the company - even though they've been pretty strong on their own proprietary titles. nintendo won't go the way of sega because of those titles and the apeal those titles have to kids.
but of course, sony's going to appeal to the demographic of NT's avg 19-30 yr old male.
