  Does anyone know of a plugin or something that will make short work of a embossing/debossing effect? It needs to look pretty good though. Eye candy is just too damn crude for this.

  I am trying to get the effect of letters debossed into a leather book cover, so detail is a little fine.

  Grateful to any suggestions

  I would start with layer effects ... but that might be too simple for the detail you sound like your aiming for.
