I think that the mindset of "I'm not good enough" is the best mindset to be in as a designer.
It will keep you hungry, keep you striving more more, and will keep you moving in your journey to the top.
Thing is, the top doesn't really exist. Theres always someone better, someone else one step ahead of you. Work hard, work often, and you'll be golden no matter what you do.

the best designers in the world still dont think they themselves are great/good. thats what keeps them at the top.
being self critical is great.
