my aunt died last night.
i really didn't know the lady.
she either died of an overdose [ she was an alcoholic and drug abuser for decades ]. the other possibility is that she was killed by her boyfriend.
oy, i didn't care for the woman, but i really feel for her children.

that is very sad and unusual to say the least
i'm sorry for your loss
stay in contact with the kids, be a better role model

most of the kids joined the military.
i guess they needed some sort of structure to their lives.

Drug indused death is really really sad. I feel you anzelina.
I've lost a lot of people in the last year and it never getting better, whether you're close to them or not, it makes you ask weird questions.
Be good to yourself.

how many kids did she have?
are they around your age?

Some people are really weird about therapy... but, they should probably go. There is probably a lot for them to talk about.

Be strong...all your NT Homies are here for you. Try to be there for your family if they need.

there's 5 kids.
they lost their dad when the oldest was 14 and the youngest was a baby. the older ones were kicked out by the mom, and then the state eventually took away the younger ones.
they DEFINITELY would benefit from therapy, and the two younger ones are getting it i believe, but the three older ones have not gone. i hope this might prompt them to go.

i hope they stay strong for each other.

I'm so sorry to hear that!!
my full empathy to your cousins!

we found out tonight that her kidneys and liver failed.
no foul play.
we picked up my cousin at the airport just now, and her baby. it's amazing what a great mother she is, and especially considering the parenting she got...
today the baby said [they're living in texas now] "mom, these trees here are so big, i couldn't even put them in my mouth!"
