problemo: helvetica/browser

    well, my first problem is I am on a PC, my second problem is... as of late, helvetica on my lcd looks like sh*t using any web browser, almost non-anti aliased... I have an old version of atm light and running windows media center 05... do I need an open type version of helvetica to display it clean and crisp again? I installed helvetica nueue and believe it to conflict somewhere.... any ideas would be greatly appreciated.... for the longest time it displayed properly, now this...
