This event calls for a tie. Subtle dark, yet warm colors, not too much contrast between the shirt and coat, or tie if you end up wearing one. Congratulations for caring what your daughter may think of her fathers outfit while graduating and looking beautiful in the process.

thanks for your advice. I'm following it except for the tie. She doesn't give a shit what i wear, and either does anyone else, but I want to feel comfortable in my own skin.
