Hmm, anyone know how to do a fillet in illustrator? I could manually draw what I'm talking about but it would be nice to have a way to do this easily.
I checked out two cad addons for AI (Blueprint tools and some other one), anyone know any other ways? I'm hoping there is a simple way to do this. It's usually a standard tool in most CAD programs.

eh?
You mean the shape of the black "globual" with a V in it...?If so , just draw it in illustrator, coupla cirlces and a few bezier curves = about 1.25 minutes work

yes, isn't it quite simple?
- cirrus0
Yes, I am talking about the shape that the V rests within, more specifically the "joints" between the two circles.
There is a way to create a mathematically precise joint between the two circles, which is what you see there.
Also, I want to be able to adjust the tension of the joint, and other common properties of a fillet.
I'm not really looking for any "draw it yourself" responses, so if that's what you are going to say - save it.

I also want info on this.
Mmm...that water looks so nice.

Play around with various shapes and the pathfinder maybe?

Yeah Brand, you're right. Maybe I should just draw it pixel by pixel in paint.

Warhero: What CAD apps export EPS?
- brandelec0
why? that will take you forever, just use the fillet tool
- warheros20
autoCAD will
just choose export i believe, or when you save as change the file type.
