can anyone link me to some good band sites? im trying to get some ideas for a local band site im gonna do. I need some inspitation. I think the band is one of those screaming metal bands.....

screaming metal bands? well let's start with the background. you know those trendy sites these days have wood and veneer and patterns and all that stuff you know, however what you need is hair, just hair, the whole background should be filled with hair.

I think it would be pretty nifty, and a throwback tribute to old metal iconography if you dig up some old wallpapers and animated gifs from the early 90's (ie. animated flames, rotating skulls, lightinging bolts, etc. there are thousands of heavy/metal looking gifs). Just make it all early 90's raw/metal looking. General MIDI'ize one of their songs and have it start playing when you land on the page.

That Dillenger site does not fit the band or the music at all, it should be a site for like some German Synthpop outfit.

i like randoman's idea a lot. the midi track is the final touch though.
