Ok I know I'll get the typical "sigh" from some, but I need some help creating stretching text using a motion or shape tween. I start out with one keyframe with my text, traking set at say 3. I set the other keyframe up with the text tracked out at say 10. My goal is to make it strecth in a rollover, however, when I add the motion tween, it just jumps from the tightly traked text (keyframe set at 2-3), to the keyframe set at 10, with no animation. I know this is a simple ass Q, but am I missing a step? Any help or recomendations will help.

Here's my .02
Take your original text, break it apart to outlines.
Convert each letter to a graphic object.
Put them all on their own layers.
Take your end text, and use it as a map to move all of your letters to their proper positions.
Tween.

did you make it a symbol first? sounds like you didnt. changing tracking in a font on tween wont work though, if you make it a symbol. or at least I think I understood the question.
