who has seen it?
- vburo0
NOT ME!
did you dig it?
- Gorbie0
i did dig.
i had reservations after reading things such as : http://www.brianjonestownmassacr…
i just didn't see it as a good guy / bad guy thing. it was more like which side of the tracks you walk on.
- Rand0
I have seen, and dug. Although apparently they had to really work hard to make Anton even slightly likeable
- Gorbie0
i don't know...
i guess i could empathize a bit. not in a artistic genius sort of way... but in that sense where you can see a little bit of that self destructive madness in yourself.
- nick0
i like the fact that you can download ALL of the BJM albums on their website
just bought the DVD for my sister couple days ago
- Rand0
totally--
but the film maker said in an interview (that was linked here on NT because an NT citizen participated in it) that they had to work so hard to find a way to not make him despicable that most of the footage went on the floor. I don't care, though.

i actually saw Anton in Blue Front Cafe on Haight the other day, buying a Falafel.
or at least he looked a lot like Anton
- Rand0
I downloaded the entire catalogue, and bought 2 copies of the greatest hits at xmas time
- Gorbie0
i guess i mean that i didn't see it so black & white. even entering the movie with a prejudice, i didn't feel that way.
BJM is playing here in Sacramento 7/16/0 and i can't fucking wait to see them live.
... but not cause i wanna see a GG Allin resurection, know what i mean?

I loved it when they played 10 hours for nine people, or something
- Gorbie0
that was awesome.
with that one dude kung-fu moshing on the dance floor by himself.
