Pantone Help!!!

Quick, I need some help from anyone with a Pantone swatch book. I don't have time to run downtown to get the book at school.
What is the difference in the Pantone Black, and PMS 6. Or is there a difference at all?

i think he means PMS Black 6 vs. just regular PMS Black.
if so... the answer is that PMS Black 6 is going to lay down a lot more rich than just PMS Black... will also have a very slight more blue tone compared to the other.

maybe it's a different pantone system, like pantone for textile, i don't know but i never heard of nor have i seen PMS 6.

if you are wanting to know the difference between pantone process black and pantone black six...
then pantone black is solid black and black 6 is made up of 54% pantone black and 46% pantone reflex blue.
so its richer and more purple looking.
