my roommate saw it (she works for ILM). because of her work, she's very critical of any movies ILM touches on and i haven't heard her say anything good about the two previous SW movies (as well as stuff like hulk and van helsing, which disappointed her big time after working on them for so long).
but this one - she said it was awesome!

van helsing? that has been by far, and i mean rrrrreally by far, the worst movie i have ever seen last year. if you haven't seen it yet, just watch the trailer, you get the story and you've seen the best bits.

rapattski - that was exactly the point my roommate made.
the kind of funny thing about working for ILM is that while she knows how good special effects are, she doesn't really know about story line.
while working on it, she thought that the movie would have awesome effects, then she saw the trailer and got even more excited...then she saw the movie and got completely crushed.

graf, they should have an oscar for best trailer, van helsing would have def. won. or actually an oscar for the best trailer for the worst movie. i can't wait till van helsing's dvd will be on sale for a dollar so i can buy one and destroy it.
