error i get when burning discs in toast:
The drive reported an error:

Sense Code=0x2C
COMMAND SEQUENCE ERRORwhen i try buring a disc using the disc utility or itunes it just says the disc cannot be written.

I also had that problem on my Titanium about a year ago when I used some funky-ass "audio" discs I got for free.
I've never tried CDRW discs though...maybe try a CD-R again. Rewritables can be funky sometimes.

My powerbook had some problems with burning files to CD's and this seemed to help.
Reseting PRAM
1. Shut down the computer.
2. Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
3. Turn on the computer.
4. Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
5. Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
6. Release the keys.
