I'm on an international call . I have to design a website for a presentation we are doing for LG's german division and my Art Director says I need to come up with german design.....wtf is german design?!?!? What the hell is he talking about???
- rabattski0
ask him if he talks about german design pre or post ww2. two different worlds. one extremely progressive and influential, the other, post, close to utter boredom (mainstream that is, underground's a different story).

omg nick you racialist! wait till tomkat hears about you calling germans greedy and cold!
- arinya0
I don't want to embarrass him. I know he doesn't know what he's talking about...he's an idiot.

Schwarzes auf Weiß auf Rot
seriously, tell him, "can you be a little less specific than German Design you douchenozzzle?"
- rabattski0
well post or pre war.
and fork btw is run by non germans.
- jox0
Then maybe you should tell him that he's an idiot and THEN ask him what he means? Or, you just make a lederhosen slash bratwürst flash intro with carneval music.

seriously though, ask the guy this:
"hey so by 'german design' you meant like clean, gridy, corporate - right?"
bet you 5 deutchmarks he says yes
- jox0
and bratwürst!! Geeze, don't break two great ideas apart, that's like saying no to a threesome with two hot twin girls!
Shesh!
- JazX0
DIN is used on the road signs over there, bigtime, not much else. that's why I asked you what type of design.
