a friend of mine is running a small software company and it seems that his homepage is not reachable from the US. quite an odd situation, going on for a couple of weeks now - his ISP wasn't able to provide a satisfying answer. so I'm asking the US-guys here if you can connect to
this is not an advertising - just a cry for help as we can't think of any other way than asking the community to find out what might be the problem.
if you run into an error connecting please drop me an email or report in here - and please tell me what provider you are using!
sorry for bugging you, tia!

ok, thanks guys. that's so weird. we get reports (over third parties, as emailing also fails) that the site is unavailable...
anyone else checked?
thanks ...

tell your friend to do a traceroute to the website.
In windows from the command prompt: tracert www.blue-tec.com
you will be able to see where communication is lost. then send a copy of the results to your ISP and webhost. The problem will be on oone of them (most likely the ISP).

we already did several tracerouts - no problems here. but we don't connect there via US-servers anyway ... it seems like some ISPs blocked a relevant IP-block.
i don't think it's possible to traceroute the whole internet ;)
but, again, thanks everyone.
