Pretty Much Star Wars is back. It is a shame that it is back at the end. Everybody saying that it is super dark are only half right. It is dark, but not super dark. I felt myself being pulled into the story this time, unlike the previous two. Overall it does a good job of tying everything together. But honestly, the best thing about the movie is the fight scenes, effects that are not cheesy, and the story is pretty good. I gave it a -1 for of course the crappy dialog between Darth and Darth's woman. Natalie had a couple of pretty bad lines, cheesy to the max and a few of us in the theatre laughed out loud. Hayden did a much better job this time around but still isn't the greatest, but seriously, neither was Mark. At least Hamill was likable. There are a few new worlds and some cool revelations, but above all it reminded me of the first 3 movies with look, feel and emotion. The battle scenes are great, the fight scenes are great and the special effects are not over the top cheesy but just really well done and really makes it all come together.
So I give it a 9 out of 10 and is worthy of being called a Star Wars film. If only George could redo #1, i would live with #2. Then there would be balance in the force.
