Does gmail let you review your spam messages or do they just filter them out?

you mean is there a setting? If you don't set anything, the spam messages are automatically filtered out.

They are filtered into the SPAM inbox. You will be able to review them.

First of all, don't you dare accuse me of living on Pluto.
I always thought "hotmail" was for perverts. Back in the 90's the first person who told me they had a hotmail account was a pervert. I could never separate the two.
