nah, I dont think so Kuz.
narcotics are bad.

except the one's that grow naturally in your region and alcohol?

Yes pills alter the levels of serotonin in your brain and can also have a long term effect on dopamine production that amongst other things regulates appetite and sleep patterns. That does not mean they cannot be enjoyed in moderation. Most people I know have at some point indulged, some more than others and there has been no obvious impact upon their mental health,
Cannabis is now being pointed at as a major cause of schizophrenia and other mental problems in the UK and elsewhere.
Its a pretty narrow-minded view to say chemicals are bad, everything else is just fine.

i also thought that this thread would last less than a fart inside a wicker basket

no, just weed and alcohol. I was just kidding about the mushrooms and regional thing. exstacy causes extreme brain damage, that is all I am really saying. I saw it take someone down firsthand.

pills make my stomach hurt too. like a kidney punch ache

i'm pretty sure dabbling in x a little is harmless, and quite possibly helpful for some. if anything, it shows you the potential your mind has to feel good.
see what happens though, people love it too much, then depend on it to have fun out, then start taking like 8 pills a night, which causes brain damage (and nerve damage).
oh, and it makes you dance like a prick!

this is all just my opinion and I am 32 years old. I am all done fucking with weird drugs.

i have personally seen two friends go clinically schizophrenic from excessive weed consumption. And many more have personality crises, to the extent that they no longer touch weed.
Also the statistics that have been well known (and observed by me) of the disproportionate number of black people with mental problems (the group more likely to be regular weed smokers) and that Brixton in London has 1% of all the mental illnesses in the whole of the UK - that is huge considering Brixton is only a borough of London. But understandable considering the massive black, heavy weed smoking population.

X is for pansies!

and what mogwai said. Dabbling with ecstacy helped me through some serious existential issues and major depression as a teenager. it was, in fact, a drug openly prescribed by psychiatrists
- mrdobolina0
I dont buy that shit when people say lsd or x has helped them through some serious times.
you sound like timothy leary.

thing one: pure mdma is harmless to the system if taken four or fewer times per annum.
thing two: the people who are getting "burned out" on mdma are a) oftentimes not taking actual mdma, but some idiotic concoction of speed and low-grade ghb and/or b) indulging irresposible amounts on an irresponsible timetable.
thing three: drug abuse is drug abuse, whatever the drug. there is such a thing as drug use and responsible drug use should not be villified for the sake of having a demon to villify. i think it's interesting to note that the vast majority of these paranoid conceptions about illegal drugs are prevalent in de facto dictatorships such as the united states.
thing four: http://www.cognitiveliberty.org/…

It does very similar things to the brain that prescription anti-depressants do albeit to greater extremes. The truth is that no-one knows what it will do long-term but the same could be said of drinking water full of oestrogen.

you don't believe me mrdobolina?
shame.
i know it did. it's powerful when you're young and yet to form an opinion of the world and yourself.
i guess having not dabbled in these you underestimate their power.

yeh, but look in the mirror after you eat that garbage and see what a mess you look.
your jaw sticks out and to the left 4 inches more than normal. your eyes are about out of your head and your hands look like you're suffering from rigor mortis.
