Jaz, yeah i'm Aryan, in that they descended into the Northern India from Western Asia (Caucas region), and brought their Vedic culture (foundation of Hinduism). The Aryan's also descended into Europe, but those Aryan's came from the Caucas's, not india/iran - so don't have a geographical ancesstary going back to india/iran, but do go to caucus's.

Sri Lankans no doubt sailed off from Southern India somewhere. Think Madagascar, Tasmania, etc. That type of scenario.

and sri lankans are tamils - the original inhabitants of the sub-continent that were displaced south by the far superior Aryan nations.

true say kelpie, The real indigineous europeans are the Basque people in spain (though i use the term indigenous loosely cos of the mix-up and that it all began in Africa anyway, and that europe contained many proto-homo-sapien species like neaderthal long b4 the basque people anyway)
