osx data recovery? :(

  i screwed up royally on my work machine.

  i had to burn a bunch of discs and my cd burner wouldnt take any discs because the main drive was full. so i backed up a folder full of ads (that are about to go to print in like 2 days) onto my secondary drive.

  well turns out about 10 folders didn't make the transfer. some of which included some ads that took me hours to make.

  i downloaded data rescue x and im about to start a thorough scan before i leave work (i gotta come in tomorrow now ) but other than that...is there anything at all i can do to find these files? they were sent to the trash and the trash was emptied.

  im runnning osx 10.3.9.
