I start my new Marketing Job for my local hospital on Monday.
I've been working full-time Multimedia design for the past five years.
It pays great, but the stress and work hours are horrible. I subsequently became a diabetic.
let this be a lesson to you "aspiring artists" out there. Life's not all about work and money.
you got to stop and smell the roses sometimes. as well as get your a$$ on a treadmill once in a while...

Ok, so how do you market hospitals? In the UK you go to whatever one is closest. Is it different in the US?

the hospital industry here in the U.S. is super-competitive because it's a private industry. No universal healthcare whatsoever.
I'll be working on recruiting new personnel (read: Nurses) because there's a severe nursing shortage in the U.S.
I'll be doing a lot of print work again. I'll miss the flash and 3D stuff a lot but that's what freelance is for. lol.

ironically, I never drank, smoked, did drugs, or even drank soda.
i even excercised regularly.
i was just cursed to have a family history... that and working all the damm time.
now I wish i did drink or ate sweets and drank soda. lol.
