I once tried to go to Cuba too via the Cuban Embassy in Windhoek, Namibia. Surprisingly, I spoke enough broken Spanish that they gave me a visa. However, that Elian Gonzales kiddie thing happened and then it was a no go. Something about burning US Flags on the street. lol, no thanks....
