I just recently swapped over to Mac OSX from OS9, there a couple of differences that leave me perplexed or maybe I just haven't worked them out yet.
Eg. Where do I print the window? Where did the mirror option go in the postscript window?
Please help...

Print screen? Something like Command+Shift+4? Or Command+Shift+3?

You can either do a screen capture or use this:

No, that's a screen grab, I'm talking about printing to a printer what I can see in a window...
eg. I just burnt a cd of jobs and would like to print the window so I can put it into the jewel case and see whats on the cd. This function was great on Mac OS 9, don't tell me that they've took it out of the OSX version? It was located in the Finder file menu.

not sure i understand the problem.. printing a Safari page or window?
- Safari/ File/ Print/ Save as PDF/ etc etc.
- or use Grab(in Apps/ Utilities) for screenshots and window captures.

Can't do it from the OS, look at the link I just posted.

OH AT LAST - -CHEERS MIMIO

Again thanks Mimio ;)

Did you all really use OSX???
You have a littles software, included in OSX, tht's called INSTANT and probably will be in your Applictions/Utilities folder.
This is just for what you want to do with the CD and things like that.

I've never heard on INSTANT, and it's not in my app or utl folders...?
- SaintAntoine0
Nope, I don't have it either? What's going on?

Damn you just switched over now? What took you so long?
My advice is give yourself time to adjust. OSX is a new beast and once you get use to it you will love it.

INSTANT?!?! Dont have it either...wtf

if you want to print a window (ie a list of all the docs in a folder) with or with out subfolders. first make sure your apple scripts menu is installed. in there you will find option to "print window". not quite the same as it used to be in OS9 though... just gives you a text list.

Cool - good one sgoodwin! Thanx.
