Everyone does silly sh*t sometimes. It's just people in the public eye (especially in the clean cut newscasting, acting, or music fields) that get sh*t for doing it. If that was one of your friends leaving a message like that you'd prolly think it was cool/funny and laugh it off, bust the guys balls for a week or two.

If the guy was saying this in the afternoon following a night of heavy drinking and coke use... I would say it's mostly the drugs talking. If anyone in here has drank and done coke for the night and well into the next day, you probably know that any contact with others and the outside would should be avoided at all costs.
