Dashboard is an obsessive compulsive person's nightmare - I am never going to get these damned widgets all lined up!!!
Couldn't they have added a 'snap-to-grid' function!?!

I want to know why the widgets are all so garish colors... this is Apple?

if you don tlike the colours, you can easily edit the gfx. They are almost always PNGs. You have to view contents of the widget, then look in there for the resources.
