great, thanks.
I am just keeping my sanity for a little while until i give it another go.
continued success to you, btw.

holy shit, my brain must've skipped there.
i meant, just regroup and give it another go later.

why do you guys smoke cigarettes? (besides "out of habit", which isn't a motive)
the high is lame and there are so many drawbacks to it...
this isn't an attack, btw, just a question
- blaw0
thanks. :)

lol @ gruntt.
scarabin... stupid toughguy shit for me. i started using tobacco when i was 12 because all the rough fuckers did and i wanted to be tough, too.
interesting thing about peer pressure... when you're a kid you think there's going to be this whole "if you don't 'whatever' then you're a baby; we won't like you; etc." but it's more of an internal insecurity thing. you think anyone but me gave two shits that i smoked?

i started smoking when i was 19, i can't believe it has been six years already... anyways i started because i broke up with my first serious boyfriend and my best friend was a smoker and her and i would go out drinking and lamenting over men and i just started smoking her cigarettes. it was a stupid thing to do but i was such a mess. now i am totally addicted to the whole process of it.

i need to discover something else without any use that i can market people into getting addicted to (so much that its lethality doesn't even matter to buyers!)
smoking just seems like the perfect product

the thing i missed most were to little breaks. it's during those smoke breaks that i ponder things. I can only equate it to meditation. I'm working on something in my mind and when I step outside and have a cigarette I think, and then come back in with an idea or a solution.
I tried taking those breaks while not smoking but they just weren't the same. I needed a reason to be out there.
and there is a BIG difference between "out of habit" and addiction.

i've heard the attraction comes from having a controlled fire between your fingers and the sense of purpose and power it gives you
i honestly think that one of the most relaxing parts of smoking is the deep breaths your taking
which you could do without the cigarette
i'm not condoning good health or anything ... please don't get me wrong
