Mac Preview Issue

I have a problem with Preview on mac os x.
I have sent a jpg to a client who does not have photo shop so he has opened the file in preview, I looks correct and displays at the correct size, however when he tries to print it, it prints at a massive size.
I have also tried opening and printing through preview and the same thing occurs! :(
Can preview only print at 72 dpi?
Does any one know how to fix this?

just tried both of those...
Sadly neither seem to make a difference. :(
When it goes into the pdf preview as part of the print process the image jumps size aswell! I roughly doubles tohe actual size.
Damn i hate preview.
any other ideas?

Have you checked/unchecked the Preview preferences that says 'respect DPI'.... might want to be off.
Should be able to handle all this in Page Setup anyway...the preset DPI shouldnt be an issue.
