A friend of mine is due in August. She has been taking a pic of herself, once a week since week 6 to show the progress. She spent a couple of years trying to get pregnant ...... so this is a very exciting time...... they said they might not have been able to have kids....
Anyway, I wanted to do something special with the images..... maybe a montage..... or something....but I want to do something a little funkier then that......
Any ideas?

make the montage into a blanket.
- liquid0
how do you do that? get the prints put onto fabric?
- Jaline0
good idea. do some cool design on a blanket. you can't go wrong.
- tny0
i was thinking it could be knit...
- tny0
or you could take some key photos and assemble into a grid > make quilted blanket

ummm........ can we stick to design not knitting......
1) I'm a guy
2) I don't know howmy current materials:
computer
printer
graphic design programscan we stick to posterboard, maybe an exacto knife and something having to do with graphic design....
maybe something along the lines of antigrl type stuff.....
or a poster.....

create a simple site you can update with photos. I did it for my sister and I update it when I get photos, her and the entire family all over the US love it.

make an animated gif of all of the photos and email it to them

Coffee table flip book might work if she photographed herself at the same angle each week.
Otherwise, maybe just a nicely designed photo book with some type.

The best stuff here: http://www.littlepiggy.com
It's a hot baby store in Santa
I always do the hermes route for my baby gifts http://www.hermes.com. everybody loves the baby blanket, woll and cashmere and plush horse.
also, you can get engraved baby fork and spoon from www.tiffany.com thats actually not that expensive and they'll keep it for life.

its not just to get a gift.......
I want to do something with the pictures.....and preferably not sewing...... iron or otherwise.....
I dont sew.......

print them out, paste to a board, and pour resin over top of it.
