im using this pattern in illustator, is there a way to change/tweak/delete anything within the patterns?

where are you accessing patterns from? Like the symbol and brush palletes you can drag the thumbnails into your work area edit them and then make them a new symbol.

you can expand the pattern to vector then tweek it from there, if you are in illustrator that is.

its a logo that is a symbol.
so when its spread out like a wallpaper, i simply want to delete some of them within the field.how do i "expand" the pattern?
