I have a problem with my mac, but the dilemma is whether i move on and buy a new one, or repair the old one. I figure it:s a power unit problem and will cost in the region of 100-200 pounds to fix whereby a mac mini is around 400 pounds with enough ram.
so what do you think? buy a new mini mac with new os tiger included or pay for repair on g4 quicksilver dual 866ghz?

Have you seen any speed comparison for G4 tower against Mac Mini?
(I have a G4 867 I want to sell, also interested in Mac Mini but unsure what its suited to)

looking at it again, i think steve jobs is flogging this mac mini to computer users and not designers as such. i would probably be looking to invest in a laptop now.
