volume control?

ok I just got these logitechs and I plug in my headphones to the speakers....and unfortunately no matter what I do I cant control the volume on it anymore then what the pc pumps out.... and its not that loud....
the volume isnt controlled by the speakers....
anyone know of any overrides or something?

well ok.... the only thing that will work is raising the preamp in winamp...other then that...its a level sound in all other applications....
any other ideas...or software that might work?

did you check all the levels on the windows sound board?

that's usually the problem. double click the speaker by the clock and make sure Wav or some other odd level isn't turned down.

nope....its literally that the control is by the amp in the comp....
thats the issue.... my other bose speakers had an amp in the speakers and it was controlled by the level on the physical speaker and then I could jack it on the computer and the preamp on winamp...
I think it may be better that I cant jack it too much.... I may go deaf....
