i just received an email fraud from who i thought was earthlink. they requested that i verify my personal email because it was lost. they would have to discontinue my service if i did not supply it . SO, i proceeded and know some greasy bastard has my american express number and my mother's maiden name. ouch! i canceled my card, but i'm still worried. BEWARE!

The website site REALLY looked like earthlink. It was a pop-up with the authentic earthlink.com behind it.
P.S. i'm a girl.

I dont understand the PayPal ones. They're pretty bloody good - to the point I think PayPal staff are in on it. If I didn't know anything about Email I'd have fallen for it ages ago.
