Hi. I am a noob with quark and it's driving me up the walls with the font problem. What font does it read? (Truetype/adobefontfolio?) and how do I install it into the program and get it to work. Also everytime I try to use the PDF printer to make pdf files the font will get distorted unless I use one of the Quark's preset fonts. Anyone? Help? Email me at :

if you're doing print work, the rule of thumb is only use postscript fonts (or make your tt fonts vector art). also use a font management utility like atm or font agent pro.

Thanks mate. but I am sadly on the PC now. Not a Mac. So I really dont know wht I can do about font mangement program.
Also does the icon for a postscript font look like a squreoutline with an "o" with 2 colours inside?
Thanks

If it's open type. then that's the only font that seems to not mess up everytime I print out pdf from quark.A font management program for PC? advisable? or dont bother?
